BAES- GEOTECHNICAL AND SUBSURFACE EXPLORATION

· Perform subsurface explorations in order to provide shallow foundation recommendations, deep foundation deep recommendations (if conditions and structural loads warrant), below grade as well as cantilevered retaining wall design earth pressures, and rigid and/or flexible pavement design recommendations.

· Services also include providing engineering site visits to observe and evaluate existing site conditions and provide recommendations when unforeseen conditions are encountered, such as existing fill, groundwater, soft residual/alluvial soils.

· Our services also include providing Shrink/Swell testing on subgrade soils when required by local jurisdictions during the building permit phase. Recommendations can also be provided if the soils tested exhibit expansive potential.
